A 65-year-old man has died in a four-car collision on the eastbound M8 in Glasgow.
The accident happened at junction 15 Townhead, close to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, at about 2330 GMT on Monday.
A woman received pelvic injuries in the crash. The motorway eastbound was closed throughout the night but reopened at about 0645 GMT.
Long tailbacks are expected on the motorway throughout the morning. Police called for witnesses to contact them.
